Is it good that HRD rolled back to CBSE way, After declaring NEET twice a year in July 2018 Press Conference

New Delhi: After 45 days of the press conference held in for the first time for National Testing Agency. HRD Prakash Javadekar announced that NTA is all set to conduct JEE Main, NEET (UG), GPAT, GMAT and UGC NET for the session 2019 onwards. The tentative exam schedule was also released in the press release.

The MHRD firstly proposed that JEE Main and NEET 2019 will be held twice a year. According to the schedule announced, the JEE Main will be held in January and April 2019 whereas the NEET was suggested to be held in Feb and May 2019.

In the meeting on 21 August 2018 held at MHRD Office, the board has decided that NEET-UG 2019 would be held once a year similar to the CBSE way.

Now, there is the question that HRD minister to answer

“Why they have firstly announced that NEET would be held twice a year”? and not make the chances.

“Some coaching centers has also invested money in buying computer/ desktop for the NEET Aspirants, what is the use of that now”

“Some students have planned their future study plan based on the previous press release”.

There is large number of students are suggesting that NTA should conduct ONLINE (CBT) exam in February 2019 and the Pen & Paper based test in May 2019. This will allow the student to access their preparation and can score good marks.

NTA Revised Exam Schedule 2019

Below is the final NTA Exam timetable released via Press Information Bureau (PIB) on 21 August 2018. The NEET Exam will he held once a year on first SUNDAY of MAY i.e. 5 May 2019.
