NEET 2020 Registration will begin at www.ntaneet.nic.in from 1 Dec 2019

NEET 2020 online registration begin on 1 December 2019 at www.ntaneet.nic.in. The National Testing Agency has already registered new website www.ntaneet.nic.in on upload NEET 2020 information bulletin, and providing the news and updates for the NEET (UG) Exam. NEET (UG) 2020 registration will begin on 1 Dec 2020. MCI has entrusted NTA to conduct the NEET (UG) 2020 exam which was previously conducted by CBSE.

At the time of CBSE, the official website for registration, notice, information bulletin, press release, news and updates was www.cbseneet.nic.in. Now, after the NTA has taken over the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET), the portal is changed to www.ntaneet.nic.in.

NTA NEET 2020 Registration

The complete registration process of NEET 2020 comprises of three phases. The first phase is “Filling the complete online application form”, the second phase is “Uploading scanned images – signature and photograph”, and the final phase is “paying form fee” online. But, before you begin filling the registration form. You must download the information bulletin and read it carefully. After going through the brochure (age limit, eligibility, new rules, education qualification, important dates etc.). You have to click on the check box next to “I have downloaded Information Bulletin, read and understood all the instructions.” at bottom of the page.

State of Eligibility: (1) State Code of eligibility means the code of the State from where the candidate has passed Class 12th / equivalent qualifying examination by virtue of which he/she becomes eligible to appear in the NEET (UG) 2020 or admission to MBBS/ BDS courses of the institutions/ Colleges of the States/UT.
(2) If a candidate has passed Class 12th/ equivalent qualifying examination from one state but appeared for improvement from another state, his/her state code of eligibility will be from where he/she has originally passed Class 12th/ equivalent qualifying examination and not the state from where he/she has appeared for improvement.
(3) Indian nationals passing the equivalent qualifying examination from an institution abroad, the State of Eligibility will be determined on the basis of permanent address in India as given in the Passport of the candidate.
(4) The candidates passing 12th/Qualifying Exam form NIOS should select the State of eligibility where their study center is located.

Enter Identification ID: Here you have to enter the ID Proof number as chosen by you above.

Candidate’s Name: Enter your complete name (as per the ID and school records). Any mismatch in the ID will lead to form cancellation. So take care of that. If the name in Aadhaar is incorrect, kindly visit the nearest kiosk or UIDAI website and make necessary changes.

Date of Birth: Kindly check the minimum and maximum age limit required for NEET 2020. (See the NEET 2020 Eligibility Criteria).

Gender: Select your gender.

Enter security pin and click on SUBMIT.

In the next screen, you will get the complete application form. Fill out the details.

1. Personal Details: In this section of the application form, the candidate has to enter his/ her details.

(a) Father’s Name: Father’s name must exactly be the same as registered in Class 12th / equivalent qualifying Examination. No prefix/title such as Mr / Shri / Fr / Dr / Col etc should be used.
(b) Mother’s Name: Mother’s name must exactly be the same as registered in Class 12th / equivalent qualifying Examination. No prefix/title such as Fr / Dr / Mrs / Smt / Col etc should be used.
(c) Category: 1. Other Backward Classes (OBC)- Non-Creamy Layer as per the central list of Other Backward Classes available on National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC), Government of India website: www.ncbc.nic.in.
2. State list OBC Candidates who are not in OBC-NCL central list must choose General.
After choosing the category – Enter Your Caste Name
(d) Person with Disability (PwD), If yes – enter the percentage of disability
(e) Are you diabetic
(f) Nationality
(g) Place of Residency (Rural or Urban) – Rural means you are residing in the City/ Town and the Urban meaning is that you are residing in Village/ Backward area, far away from the city.

2. Exam Relatest Details

In this section, the candidate has to enter his/ her entrance exam course opting for, exam centers, mode of examination, language of question paper etc.

Set Password:

For the NTA NEET 2020 Application, you have to set a strong password. Your password must satisfy the following:

  • Password must be 8 to 13 character long.
  • Password must have at least one Uppercase Alphabet.
  • Password must have at least one Lowercase alphabet.
  • Password must have at least one numeric value.
  • Password must have at least one special characters eg.!@#$%^&*-

  • Scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format.
  • Size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
  • Size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb.

Note: Upload the correct Photograph and Signature as the facility for correction will not be given.

At the time of uploading the photograph >> You may get error message “Face Recognition Failed Or Find Improper Faces”. Kindly check the photograph carefully and upload once again.

Confirm/ Preview your scanned upload.

The Candidate particulars can be edited till the payment of fees by Debit/Credit Card has not been made or the e-Challan is not downloaded. Once the payment of the fee has been made / e-Challan downloaded, candidate particulars cannot be edited at this stage. Thereafter corrections can be made only during the period in which on-line corrections will be allowed as per the given schedule of NEET (UG) 2020.

Instruction and procedure of filline NEET (UG) 2020 application form

1. Please read the instructions, procedure and Information Bulletin carefully before you start filling the Application Form.
2. The Candidate can apply for NEET (UG) – 2020 ‘ON-LINE’ only through the official website of  NEET 2020 (www.ntaneet.nic.in).

The Application Number printed on the computer generated Confirmation Page must be mentioned in all such correspondences. It is therefore essential to note down the application number printed on the Confirmation Page.
